I don't understand how to work out problems like this I have to write it as a compound inequality with intergers [tex] c - 6 \leqslant 0 \: or \: c - 1 \geqslant 8[/tex]

Answer :

c - 6 ≤ 0 or c - 1 ≥ 8

6 is subtracting on the left of the first expression, then it will add on the right

1 is subtracting on the left of the second expression, then it will add on the right

c ≤ 0 + 6 or c ≥ 8 + 1

c ≤ 6 or c ≥ 9
