For the following system, which variable would you solve for if using substitution and why? * 2x-6y= 24 -6x + y =-21​

Answer :

2x - 6y = 24
-6x + y = -21
personally the first variable i would solve for is x because using the second equation you’re given you can transform that into y = -21 + 6x
you can substitute that into the first equation and then find the value of x straight away
