How can you identify the north/south pole in a magnet. Is there a north/south pole in a magnetic field and if so how do we identify that

Answer :

Steps :-

  • Tie a little rope with the magnet centre.
  • Put the magnet holding up in air straight.
  • Put a clock magnet beside the holding of the magnet.
  • The north pole of clock pin will show the north pole of the magnet and other will show south pole .
