i am blessed because i am me, the flowers that bloom within the trees they grant me the feelings of peace. i am blessed because i can think, my mind runs freely, but like a horse in a meadow my thoughts flee. i am blessed because of my family, they protect me, they support my dreams. i am blessed because of my friends, we laugh and dance, almost as if there is no tomorrow’s end. i am blessed because i was granted the quality of life, i can exist, i can breathe, and i can be. i am blessed because i am me.
