The Holocaust was caused by the political party— The Nazis — rising to power after World War I. They used deep rooted anti-semitism to exploit Jewish people, and used them as a the staple for Germany’s downfall. From there, the Jewish people were alienated, and seen as a stain on Germany. From there, they, along with disabled people and other ethnic groups, were taken to concentration camps and forced to do labor or die.
