Plus, the more the thermoplastics are recycled, the weaker they become until they can no longer be recycled. Dirty plastic cannot be recycled, either. It must be cleaned before it can be recycled. So, recycling is more than just tossing a bottle in a recycling bin; there may be some work involved. Recycling has many benefits, but there is also more than meets the eye to this process.
