A sleeping lion is awakened by a tiny mouse. The lion
wants to eat the mouse, but the mouse convinces him that
he is too small and could someday prove useful to the lion.
Although the lion is skeptical, he kindly releases the
mouse. Later, the mouse finds the lion in a hunter's net
and, remembering the lion's mercy, gnaws at the net and
sets the lion free. The lion learns the valuable lesson that
kindness will be rewarded.
